89Your word, LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. 90Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures. 91Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you. 92If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction. 93I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life. 94Save me, for I am yours; I have sought out your precepts. 95The wicked are waiting to destroy me, but I will ponder your statutes. 96To all perfection I see a limit, but your commands are boundless. (NIV)
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, Creator of the Heavens, Your steadfastness, and all that is Your Word, is settled in heaven. Though the earth you have established is full of the evidences of your Truth, the hope you have given us of salvation that we fix our minds and hearts upon far transcends it. We live by faith.
And yet, all the earth is in obedience to you; all things serve you. We can see through this created world the evidences of your grace revealed to us. Thank you for this grace in our weakness!
In the heat of affliction, which would have destroyed me otherwise, I have instead been refreshed and made alive by your Promise. I AM yours! You are my master and I belong to you.
I continually need your salvation and keep my petition before you daily, because I set my hope in your Word. I’m surrounded by threats from the rebellious, but I set my mind to the witness of your commands.
Yes, I have seen that this earth is insufficient to set my hope upon it; but your Word is always more than sufficient to meet every need. Where can I go that you are not already there? (Psalm 139)

|LAMEDH – 89For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. 90Thy faithfulness is unto all generations; thou hast established the earth, and it abideth. 91They continue this day according to thine ordinances; for all are thy servants. 92Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction. 93I will never forget thy precepts; for with them thou hast quickened me. 94I am thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts. 95The wicked have waited for me to destroy me; but I will consider thy testimonies. 96I have seen an end of all perfection; but thy commandment is exceeding broad. LAMEDH – 89Forever, O LORD, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens. 90Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast. 91By your appointment they stand this day, for all things are your servants. 92If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction. 93I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life. 94I am yours; save me, for I have sought your precepts. 95The wicked lie in wait to destroy me, but I consider your testimonies. 96I have seen a limit to all perfection, but your commandment is exceedingly broad. 89 LAMED.
94 Tuyo soy yo, guárdame; Porque he buscado tus mandamientos.
95 Los impíos me han aguardado para destruirme: Mas yo entenderé en tus testimonios.
96 A toda perfección he visto fin: Ancho sobremanera es tu mandamiento. (RVR)
