PURPOSE IN THIS WEBSITE (www.ReadPsalm119.com) My purpose in creating this website is to highlight this often-overlooked psalm as it points us to the Word of God. In light of this, the blog serves to explore the junction of prayer and practice: learning from God's own heart (his character) and mind what He wills for us concerning the gospel of the Grace of His Son, Jesus Christ, and living that out experientially with others. I pray the resources made available on this site will glorify God and encourage all people, especially those who are already believers in Jesus as the Son of God. "Take up and read" and live. Romans 10 forms the apologetic for this hope. READ FOR LIFE!

    What Would Jesus’ Love Do?

A beginner blogger ventures prayerful thoughts about controversies. What has God already given us in His Word, specifically in Psalm 119? How should we respond as the Body of Christ?

    Lamedh – Psalm 119:96

Have you ever found yourself tearing up at a beautiful painting? What about a sunrise? To every perfect thing in this world, there is yet a boundary set to it. What, then, can we hold to that does not change, cannot be lost, and never ends?

What If Jesus Arose From the Dead Today?

It is one thing to read about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and it is quite another to imagine that it happened to me today. How would I respond? Join me in a “New Testament Moment” as we reconsider Christ and His impact if He were True.

    CAPH–כ  Unanswered Prayer, Pt. II

I don’t understand why my prayers have not been answered, but Caph (Proverbs 119:81-88) gives me at least six steps I can take to keep the lifelines open to me in my confusion and despair.

What do you do when you’ve prayed to God, or the Higher Power that is supposed to hear prayers, and you are left with nothing but silence?

    Prayers of Thankfulness

“Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens. . . . with humble penitence for our national perverseness and disobedience … [we] fervently implore the interposition of the Almighty hand to heal the wounds of the nation” – – Abraham Lincoln
