A commemoration is a celebration of remembering, a time for solemnly acknowledging a significant person or event from our past. Commemorating saints in the Christian faith is part of our heritage. We are called to look to those who have gone ahead of us in maturity of faith and to learn from them (Hebrews 13:7).
This page is a springboard for learning about inspirational servants of God who inspire us to realize what sacrificial service can do in this world. We understand that any one good word or act is a comparative drop in the bucket to all the wrong in the world today, yet our collective drops do make a difference. Here are some “saints”, historical and in the present, who have made and are still making a difference.
