Bangor Worldwide Missionary Convention 2019

Bangor Worldwide Missionary Convention,
Hamilton Road Presbyterian Church, Bangor, N. Ireland, UK
August 23-31, 2019

In the 1930s, a group of believers met to pray for Christ’s gospel to go throughout the world, beginning at home but not remaining there. That group has met every Monday since then and has culminated in organized support for missions all around the world. From faith the size of a mustard seed has grown a very large oak with overspreading branches!

Every year, missionaries and missions organizations convene with believers from the local area for a week of serious Bible study, fellowship, and mutual support. This is the most prayer-filled, Word-honored, Christ and gospel-centered conference I have had the honor of attending (twice).

As so many prepare this year’s conference, please join me in praying for the fruitfulness of this ministry as they determine to obey God’s mandate to share Christ with the world in great love.

Learn more about them through this promo video. Then pray for the keynote speaker, Don Carson; the worship team of New Irish Arts, the coordinators and church, the missionaries and organizations, the people of all Ireland to unite together in Christian unity for the sake of the gospel, and for practical, financial and logistical success in this endeavor.

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. Colossians 1:18 KJV
