121-128

121I have done what is righteous and just; do not leave me to my oppressors. 122Ensure your servant’s well-being; do not let the arrogant oppress me. 123My eyes fail, looking for your salvation, looking for your righteous promise. 124Deal with your servant according to your love and teach me your decrees. 125I am your servant; give me discernment that I may understand your statutes. 126It is time for you to act, LORD; your law is being broken. 127Because I love your commands more than gold, more than pure gold, 128and because I consider all your precepts right, I hate every wrong path. (NIV)

PRAYER: LORD, I have been faithful to do what is righteous in your eyes even in time of trouble; though inherently sinful, my conscience is clean. I look to you–please don’t leave me in the hands of my oppressors!  Take care of me and ensure justice for me; don’t let the insolent press me to the point my hope fails.

My eyes have grown tired and weary looking for your righteous promise of salvation to be fulfilled.  I have nothing left but you. Deal with me, your servant, according to the steadfast love I know you have for me, and teach me even now your commandments. I am Your servant; therefore, give me understanding and discernment so that I may know and witness the truth of your word intimately and I will obey it.

Their wickedness has become complete, O LORD, and the time for justice is surely now, for your law has been broken and made a mockery! But I still trust in your law, and delight in it more than even the finest gold or treasure!  Therefore, holding your precepts to be true and right, always and even now as I wait for them to have their full import, I detest and reject all deceptions against your Word that attempt to steal in and destroy–both from within and from without.  I deliberately choose you, and rest my hope in you, O Lord who sees all.

124 Haz con tu siervo según tu misericordia, Y enséñame tus estatutos.
